Some antique finds

These are just some items found at the Acorn Antique show last weekend

Ahh, there's nothing like an 1891 book, old scale and rusty lamp, love them!

We are still in winterland, dreaming of spring, this is how our back yard looks right now....

Tray fit for a Queen

I've had this tray for a little while, but the color......ugly.  Here I started the transformation



Here it is looking better, still too white though, needs some antiquing and something else.

And voila! completely finished! I decided to put it in a little vignette just to show it off

The crown image is from The Graphic's Fairy which I mod podged it after the antiquing glaze.

Don't Know what to do...........

I painted this rooster 2 years ago, yes two years ago, the surface is MDF and it needs some moulding or border around the painting to be completed.  I really want to finish this project because is sitting in the corner of the computer room.

The thing is, I don't know what would go with it, black, green, brown? any ideas would be much appreciated.
