Have a thing for libraries

Hello everyone! After a few days in Colorado, we are back, I sure missed all of you, I have a lot of catch up to do reading blogs and past posts.

I finished reading my "Romantic Prairie Style" book last night and thought of  posting  some pictures of incredibly beautiful libraries.  I love libraries, specially if they are old world or vintage looking, like this one:

  3. The library rooms you shared with us are all gorgeous! Someday when I get rich and can afford a big house, I would totally have a room full of books with bookcase with ladders.

  4. We have a little library/TV room..with golden wood paneled doors. Though I usually love painted and light design...I like libraries to be dark, warm and cozy places. Would love to find a tall ladder...the type that rolls across the bookshelves. Perhaps silly for this smallish room...but just dreaming a bit! Great photos...merci! Trish

  5. Wow! What beautiful libraries...And they're huge! I only have a little reading nook in my computer/library room :-) But I guess it works well for our petite cottage.

    Hugs and Kisses,

  6. Oh, I love these library photos! I could easily get lost in time while reading tons of books in libraries. I think my favorite is the smaller cozy one with the fireplace. When I grow up, I'm going to have a beautiful, fun, cozy library with comfy seating and coffee and tea on hand!! All of my life I've been surrounded by many books. My dad had a library at home and in his office at the churches where he was pastor. Oh goodness, I could go on and on with this subject. And thank you, my new blogging friend, for your comment on my blog today. Check out that wedding dress company link from those photos. They just might have a 1. Have a happy weekend!
