I was doing some weedin' the other day, it had rained earlier so the evening was marvelous and I decided to work in the garden a little.... or a lot
My lavender was blooming....
The mint smelled fantastic.....
So I thought why not combine both and make a little bouquet....
Which I brought inside the house....
My kitchen smelled fresh and clean, loved it.
French word of today:
Mint = Menthe (mahnt)
What a beautiful combination! I love both!!ReplyDelete
mint & lavender, my two favorite scents!ReplyDelete
What I would give to be able to grow lavender! It is just too hot and humid down here. Your bouquet is lovely!ReplyDelete
your lavander shots are stunning! love the color!ReplyDelete
I can almost smell it now! I adore lavender, and I just picked a bouquet of my Spanish lavender today. I never would have thought of combining it with mint, thanks for the great idea!ReplyDelete
Thanks for linking up to Cottage Flora Thursday's Garden Party! my neighbors mint smells like mojito's & it grows from under his fence....you've given me an idea! xoxo, TracieReplyDelete

Hmmmm, I can almost smell it all the way over here :-) What a fresh combination.ReplyDelete
Hugs and Kisses,
Lovely combo! I have a flower bed planted with mint, roses, and lavender--the smell is heavenly! I just have to keep an eye on the mint and pray it dosen't kill off the lavendar! I think the roses can hold their own!ReplyDelete
