Sunken Garden

We took a trip to a very pretty place in Idaho, it's called Lava Hot Springs, the hot water comes from underneath the earth and forms these pools of hot boiling water, there are different pools with different degrees, but you can barely stand it. Now, I didn't take a picture of the pools because there was a lot of naked people, well not really naked but you know bikinis, etc.
I just took pictures of what they call the sunken garden, it's very pretty and goes up the mountain.

Not too many flowers yet, the weather is still cold there

Love the mossy path and hate the trash can.

I guess they made the stone walls in 1956

A very tiny water fall

They have these little signs all over

There's also caves

I think the cactus have seen better days, or may be because of the cold weather that they look bad.

Yummy moss everywhere.

I had never seen before a bleeding heart, is beautiful.

  7. Wow, what beautiful place. I'm actually vacationing in Texas (visiting family) and will be driving home to New Jersey soon. It's a shame Idaho isn't on my route. Lol! Thank you so much for stopping by my corner of blogsville and for choosing to follow. This means we'll be seeing more of each other. (virtually, that is) I'm so glad our bookcase with the covered books inspired you. I will be posting a tutorial soon on how I tackled the project of covering the books. It will help you not feel so overwhelmed when you try it. :o) Your newest follower.
